Den Braven Sealants has launched handy, multifunctional cleaning wipes in its delivery program. The application of chemical anchors has increased significantly in recent years for the construction market. Chemical anchoring offers clear advantages in relation to working with plug and mechanical anchors. Chemical anchors alleviate the problem of drilling the absolute correct size hole and any risk of cracking of the surrounding substrate, which can occur if a mechanical anchor is over tensioned. Chemical anchors are applied usually with special expensive applicators, generally only used by professional tradesmen. Den Braven Sealants is about to change that. Zwaluw Fix-o-Chim is now available in a 300ml cartridge that can be applied with every normal skeleton gun. The application of the product is very simple. After opening the cartridge the content must be opened with a knife or scissors and then you screw on the mixing nozzle. The cartridge can now be placed in the skeleton gun. (Before the product can be used the first 5cm of extruded material must be disposed of, as this will not be mixed correctly and therefore should not be used). The paste must be gunned into drill holes, which must be cleaned carefully of dust and drilling debris before application. After application of the paste the item to be fixed must be pushed into the paste using a twisting movement. After curing of the paste there will be an extremely strong adhesion between the two substrates.
