Zwaluw Windowseal Plus, Universal paintable, easy to process

Zwaluw Windowseal-P is one of the most well known glazing caulks on the Dutch market. Since the introduction in 1989 the product is successfully used by large numbers of Dutch glass installers. The product is simple to use and fit for purpose. ‘Easily toolable' is a phrase all installers use nowadays and this has come from the use of Zwaluw Windowseal.

Since the development of water based paints, the demand for a universal paintable glazing caulk has become significant in recent years. In the delivery program of Den Braven Sealants there is a choice between 2 high-quality glazing caulks that are universally paintable, these are; Zwaluw Hybriseal 2PS and Zwaluw Spurflex 25. Both products are being applied on projects were high demands are made for paintability. The glass installer will however experience that the use of these products is less than simple and the toolability in many situations is not possible. These products are also temperature sensitive as a result the application in cold temperatures is difficult as the products body up. Under these circumstances the glass installers chose an alternative product which can be applied easily but the paintability is not achieved as effectively as it should be.

Easily toolable glazing caulks are in general only paintable with synthetic paints. Den Braven Sealants has succeeded in developing an easily toolable product, which is universally paintable. We are convinced that window installers will be delighted at this news. This new product is called Zwaluw Windowseal Plus.

Due to the fact that the painted caulk joint may be still visible on one side, through the glazing site line, or the glazing caulk, in many cases will not be painted, Den Braven Sealants decided to expand the delivery program with a range of popular colours.

Cartridges 310 ml: transparent, white, cream white 9001, grey, blue 5011, red 3005, green 6009, brown and black.

Sausages 600 ml: white, grey, brown and black.
Other colours can be made on request for volume.
