Zwaluw Backer Rod

Description

Zwaluw Backer Rod consist of polyurethane foam (open cell) and polyethylene foam (closed cell) in various diameters from ø 6 to 50 mm. To be used as backfilling material in joints to create the right joint dimensions for the sealant to be applied.

Application

Polyethylene foam to be used for joints which are exposed to mechanical (walking joints) or water pressure (joints under water). The polyurethane foam is suitable for non loaded joints. For further information consult data sheet 7.22.
