Zwaluw Pyrocryl

Description

Zwaluw Pyrocryl is a fire retardant intumescent sealant based on acrylic emulsion. Tested according to CSTB France nr. 9335164 and B.S. 476: part 20 1987 (England) and IMO Fire Test Procedure Code, Annex 1 Part 5 and Annex 2, certificate no: MED 0550307. Zwaluw Pyrocryl swells when subjected to temperatures in excess of 120EC. which leads to an inhibition action.

Application

For sealing internal joints in buildings which must conform to a certain fire retardant such as conection joints along fire retardent plates, walls, doors etc. For sealing cable connections with a movement of max. 12½%. For further information consult data sheet 3.16.
